The public has a right to know why the Biden Administration removed the Title IX Athletics NPRM from its regulatory agenda. Just last year it described the rule as necessary “to advance Title IX’s longstanding goal of ensuring equal opportunity in athletics” and to “provide much-needed clarity for students, parents, and coaches.” DFI is seeking records regarding this change and which outside groups, if any, influenced this decision.
