DFI Releases Statement on SCOTUS Carson v. Makin Decision

WASHINGTON—Today, the Defense of Freedom Institute for Policy Studies (DFI) released the following statement regarding the U.S. Supreme Court’s landmark decision in Carson v. Makin.

“Americans can celebrate today a major legal victory for education freedom and religious liberty,” said Robert S. Eitel, president of the Defense of Freedom Institute for Policy Studies.  “This important decision is the latest repudiation of yet another attempt by the public education establishment to bar students in an education choice program from attending private schools solely because of their religious affiliation or instruction. We are proud to support the Carson and Nelson families in their fight for education choice and religious freedom for all Americans in this landmark case.”
